Page left: The once was a bear and it said to the other bear in the nighttime: "Why does the moon in Houndsberg never shine?"

Page right: "All I see is a black silhouette!"

Page left: The other bear looked up at the sky too and said: "It must have been a thief! Some sort of terrible scoundrel!"

Page right: "She took the light out of the moon and left only the dark part!"

Page left: The first bear then was angry. "Let's find this thief and capture her!"

Page right: In unison they yelled: "Where are you thief?"

Page left: The bears were so distracted yelling, they didn't notice the nighttime fading.

Page right: When the bear and the other bear looked back down again, it was already sunrise.

Page left: "THERE SHE IS!"

Page right: "THERE SHE IS! LET US FOLLOW!"
